Six days detecting at four beaches

Totally agreed, the entire scope of the D2 is a huge home run in my book as well. And as you show, I also gauge a machine by results over time…and for me, hunting difficult conditions. Anyone can trip over a nice find with a Compadre, that’s not what I mean. You may be hunting highly hunted beaches while I’m hunting difficult public sites inland. The fact that we and many others have seen these results in various conditions tells me that it’s a perfectly rounded machine. It’s incredible IMHO.

Did you buy the upper and lower seperately ?
I have multiple detectors and one of my detectors is the Nokta Simplex, which is a good detector but I don't use it any more so I just removed the control box and purchased the XP mounting bracket and mounted the puck and 13" coil and now I have two Deus 2 setups, one primary and one backup, works great.
Good job, nice digs. Are your gloves water proof? If so where did you get them?
Tony nj
I bought them off Amazon. they are only water proof on the palms. They are light weight and very comfortable and you are able to push buttons on the remote without any problems.

I would have posted more pics, but only would allow me to post ten. The large ring was 18k and 17.8 grams. The necklace was 14k and 18.9 grams. The Deus 2 is definitely a beast. Some more beach gold in the last few months. In addition to gold more silver rings, a titanium ring (a first), tungsten rings and plenty of nice junk rings. Also 2 apple watches not claimed. A completely crusted quarter, turned out to be dated 1944, a spot in the wet sand where I collected more than $18 in quarters. Everywhere I put down the coil was a signal, I dug until the tide came up and chased me away. I've been jumping from the 13" and the 11" coil, both work excellent I have no preference now, one works as good as the other. The Deus 2 is incredible IMHO also.
