I recently found one of the strangest rings ever. It looks like someone melted something down and very crudely soldered it together, Its quite heavy.
Dont have testing kit, so I dont know metal. I was cherry picking only high tones, so I suspect its silver.

Ugliest thing I ever saw and someone even put there initials in it !!!

This old brass laxative token from a few years ago was a pretty weird one for me.

I have a small collection of drug paraphernalia that I have found over the years. The crack spoon is silver
My weirdest find would have to be the piece shown by itself in a couple photos.. I posted it when I found it, but never found out what it was part of.
It resembles a sword pommel, but is totally enclosed other than the hole on one side.
I am not even sure what it is made out of.

Nice collection. Just amazing what people loose, When I first started detecting, I could believe all the coins people lost.
Must million's !!! Of which I have found a few thousand by now !!!!

Like you Donna, I was really surprised at how many coins get lost..I figured I’d find plenty of pennies, a few dimes and nickels and every now and then I might get lucky and find a quarter.
Boy was I surprised at the number of quarters I started finding after some time with the detector.

Often thought about human bones down there. I tumbled them just enough to remove patina.
