This dang machine is blowing my mind. It’s just somehow able to have such high performance with no fiddling. Using the sp24 in a park around moderate iron, got a solid signal, I didn’t check the ID but it was a warble tone in park 2 so 50 ish I dunno. About 4” deep. My first 1812 Artillery cuff button. 😱 she’s crispy and delicate. But beautiful.
Got me a good little corner of this dead end street/park where a satisfying mix of relics are coming up. Marbles too. Love that.
Lots of folks have seen me there so it may be short lived. Going back Sunday. Beautiful winter hunting under the live oaks here.

Congrats, and really not too surprised. My Simplex + w/5X9½ DD is a simple yet very efficient performing detector. I've eliminated all detectors over a mid-price range and now enjoy splendid performing while keeping it simple. I still favor Park 1 over Park 2, then Beach then Field. It all depends on where I am hunting.

Best to you for continued success.
