silver Umax finds me an 1886 Indian penny

Great find Gunnar!

You are letting the secret out! The Silver uMax has been my land detecting secret for awhile now. I like the T but when I land hunt I find myself grabbing the Silver. I am probably gonna part with the T real soon. Not that it is not a great detector, just that I find myself in the water most of the time with the Tiger and really don't need the T for the little bit of ground hunting I do.

It sure has been . I tried to hunt yesterday and my Garrett Propointer is not working "again" . I'll have to send it in "again" .

That sucks!!! Had the same thing happen awhile back but alas....I had a spare backup PPer. What I don't have is spare headphones so that'll bite me someday....lol I have an X-1 on the Trac but use it for other purposes than PP'ing and really don't like it for PP'ing compared to the Garrett but I could use it in a pinch if need be?

watch the ads for PP'ers....got 2 of mine brand new off this forum for like 90 bucks each.......... My original PP the switch quit after 3 yrs so can't complain, I need to send it in also someday?

sidelined due to heat with no relief in sight..........
