Oh I garantee I have skipped silver, without a doubt....I always start out digging everything nickel and above and after a few hours I start to get tired and start skipping shallow penny signals....hey I cant have everything!

I went to a different park and found mostly 1970's pennies....looked toward the road and saw 2 oak trees....As soon as I got to this area 1941 penny...then another and another in the same era. Found 1919 Dime, shortly after. This area of the park would not appeal to anyone since it was close to the road. Other areas looked like better spots.

I returned the next day found 2 silver dimes and 8 1940 era pennies....I have been using TTF since the canadian silver is 80% doesnt have that sweet sound to them but the pennies do.

To save time now, I hunt an area and dig everything.....if I dont find any pennies below 1960 then I move on to a different area of the park. Im limited on time so this gives me an idea if Im wasting my time looking for silver in the wrong place (which I have been).

Looks like I've found approx. four Wheat Cents for every Silver coin over the last three years.
