Got out this morning with the Racer2 for a pretty productive hunt. Ended up with three Barber dimes (that may be a record for a single hunt for me), dates are 1893S, 1906S & 1914D. Also got two Indian heads, 1895 & 1898, two mercs 1918 & 1923, seven wheaties 1915S,1914S,1920S,1920,1936S,1938,1954S, a 1946 silver rosie, and a silver 1943P war nickel.

Landed three tokens, two older telephone tokens and one token that just says $2.50 DRINKS C.A. KLINKNER & CO. S.F..

Also got a tiny silver ring, and a banded clay marble, pretty good hunt!

What coil were you using?

Been using the Makro 10" DD coil 90% of the time. I tried the small coil and it wasn't very productive at this site, and the 11" R2 coil, while a great improvement over the 11" R1 coil, is just a bit too much coil for this site. I'm fighting masking (not bed of nails small coil stuff, but there's a fair amount of larger iron around), and and also fighting interference. I've found that the Racers just perform at maximum capabilities with the gain in the 90's so dropping the gain down to cope with the interference will really drop my finds, so I fight through it.

Wow, awesome haul
Just curious if you pulled all this out of a park or on a private yard?

Nice finds Brian !!

Don't be a boob too Phillip ! Either way all you are doing is insuring we have to suffer the nut with two boobs for the next four years !

If Johnson makes it into the debates, it's going to be a whole different ball game! He's going to outshine those other two half-wits like nobody's business! And besides, trying to pick the lesser of two evils just doesn't appeal to me. It's those people who think we can ONLY vote Democrat or Republican regardless of who they put up that are going to sink this country and the ideals it was built on!

Wow you are doing good

Thanks everyone, the Racer has been a great detector, just need to spend the time to learn it and it pays off. Heck my Racer2 paid for itself already with one months of finds
