Short river hunt, With Tarzan

Went to the River near my house for about 4 hours , 2 hrs. at two different places. No gold but an interesting day. I ran into a man that was a licenced nuisances Alligator catcher. He was explaining how he just swims out and catches the small gators by hand and drags them back into shore. Within 30 minutes there was a small, about 4ft.gator crossing the river about 40 yards down the river from where I hunt. He hit the water like Tarzan, swam down the river to within 15 feet of the Gator, but it turned and swam away to fast to catch. His friend said he has seen him drag 6 ft. Gators out of the water bare handed. My heart was beating out of my chest just watching this crazy man, I can only imagine the rush he gets from what he does. When he got back I counted and yes he has all his fingers. Back to my hunt 5.06 in change and one junk ring. Beats sitting at home or cutting grass. HH
