Thanks for the kind words friend..and congrats on your first Injun'. I hope you find many more. I have only found one fatty in 35 years and it's because they usually hit between nickels and pulltabs...and I just simply don't have time to chase those signals.

Bryce I bet your excited friend gets his own detector soon.
This was a really funny post and I know how the look on his face must have put a smile on yours.
Looks like a sppoky place. Is that an orbover your shoulder when you are digging???
Thanks Kennon. Not sure what that is ...but sure does look like an orb.

Bryce, I think if your friends were yelling out to you that they saw 1877 on that injun, you'd be running to them!!
Cool story, and yes, that church does look haunted.
Take care, my friend!

Dan
Thanks Dan. No I would have stayed right where I was and enjoyed what I heard and saw. At that point there wasn't anything left of the coin anyway.

Those are the kind of friends you enjoy hunting with and bring along. It really pumps you up to get out there even more. Im finding it difficult to find a regular buddy even with the club, scheduling is difficult. Nothing like sharing your finds with a friend.... means a lot more to you dont it Bryce? GREAT location, i love those old churches.
Dew
Thanks Dew. Yeah it is much more meaningful hunting with true friends. Doesn't matter what we find because the excitement is like we struck gold.

Bryce, looks like a lot of fun.LOL there's an orb over your right shoulder.Probably see this on the History Channel.
Thanks Ron. I've taken literally 100's of pictures the last few months and never seen anything like that.

Great post, Bryce. I'm thinking there might be other goodies hiding there. That is one spooky looking church!
Thanks Dan. We will be going back.

Yep Bryce another great story and awesome hunt. And you sure do have an "orb" hovering over you in that pic.
Thanks Bell. The orb has me intrigued. 100's and 100's of pics I've taken and never seen anything like it. Yet that night at that church...there is an orb.

Bryce that place looks awsome !! Are there any outer areas like fields or woods near the church? These could be fertile because church functions and activities
could have spilled over to surrounding areas. I've had good luck in wooded areas near churches.
Bruce in Ct
Thanks Bruce. Yep theres a lot of area...but it's all grown up with weeds and brush. Might be able to get the land owner to whack it with a bush hog though.

Wow, talk about scaring up some oldies. I see ya even got the ghost light hovering over your head in one pic! That place is worth a return visit - at Midnight, under a full moon....
Thanks D.F. ...the ghost light gives me the creeps. If I go back under the circumstances you suggest...I might need to bring a change of shorts along.

Bryce it was a lot of fun. I just wish we would have had more time. More time would have meant more rubbing on your indian cent though...lol.
You got that right. Brad was a rubbin' machine.
