I still have the xpd1 and still love what it does. I have gone head to head with the equinox on more than one occasion with the 5x9 hf coil and I still like what I found, and they could not. The ability to find goodies right next to trash still kind of makes me feel good, when I know that it has been there while others have gone right over it
