hey guys did better today turned down the sensitivity i had it on auto plus 3 and turned it down to just auto and did alot better today i found 4 wheats 1910, 1928, 1935, and 1939 then i found 2 clad dimes 2 clad nickels and 6 pennies and a quarter and the best one i found was a 1919 mercury dime at 8 inches sorry about the pic my camera sucks lol

Glad you are getting the hang of it. I have only had my CTX for 1 month, and every time I go out, it starts to come together a little more each time. I used the Etrac all last year, so the learning curve so far hasn't been all that bad, however, I have had allot of help through everyone on this forum.
Good luck, and I am sure the finds will continue to happen for you.

Very nice!!

It took me a lot longer to find my first silver!!

You are off to a great start...

Congrats on you nice finds. I have had my CTX for over a week. Still no silvers. What patterns are you running?

thanks guys and sparkster im using gonehuntings combined mode its an all open screen you can find it in the resource forum i watched his video and just programed it manualy into my detector

Auto + 3 is a bit to sensitive for most situations. I like Auto + 2 if it really trashy I go +1.

A stable detector for me is much more productive!
