Search Coils For Sovereign

I have a Sovereign XS2aPro that I purchased about 20 years ago. I am interested in getting some additional coils to add to the BBS 800 coil that originally came with the machine.

I have read through most of the recent posts on this forum in regard to coils, and I am interested in possibly purchasing an NEL Tornado. The question I have is will the NEL Tornado coil work with my XS2aPro? It is generally listed on line as a Sovereign GT coil. Are the after market Sovereign coils from NEL made to be interchangeable for all Sovereign detector models?

Thanks, BQ

All the Sovereign or Excalibur coils work on all Sovereigns, dont make a difference if its for the original Sovereign or the GT, they are all BBS and dont think any other coils work with any Sovereigns.

At this moment I'm using the Sovereign Elite together with the NEL 13 inch Tornado Coil.

This combination works great for me. Good depth and great pinpointing.

I only search the beach.

I second the Tornado for choice of my favorite large coil for the Sovereign. It's fairly light for it's size, goes DEEP and separates will. But above all, it's STABLE!
