I will be watching THIS ONE if I were you. There have been allot of little storms but this one just might surprise everyone, we will see around Monday as it looks as though Sandy will be sucked in to the east coast from the upper jet stream

The east coast of Florida is getting smacked Friday and early Saturday.

They're expecting plenty of beach erosion.

Let us know what you find and good luck, heard you guys might have a power outage for a couple of weeks with this one.....HH

The thing is that is so big that between Del. to NY wherever it lands were sure to have damage and beach erosion up and down the Jersey shore again, due to the size of this thing. It is now called the Frankinstorm, and yes they are saying prolonged power outages as well

Hoping to get some sand thrown around here in Charleston SC

great and i live across the street from the beach ( east cost)

I'm hoping we even have access to some of the Jersey beaches. Lots of roads flood at some of my most productive locations.

Don't want to wish this storm on you guys up there in yankee land, but I am sure glad it is not coming to Mobile...be careful up there and get stocked up on supplies.

Best of luck.

Looks good for the Gulf, 6' swells... a little slow on duration 7 seconds, but the strong winds out of the North and North West should force the sand South. If it will just get the flattened sand bars it left from the last storm to move even to what it was ill be happy. Last time the winds changed and came in from the West we ate all that sand it moved off the beaches. But ill have to find the wetsuit..... Mon in the low 70s... thats cool for us.

TIME TO PLUNDER ! tomcatpl looks like it's going to hit a little south of us leaving plenty of room for some NICE tropical winds spread over a few days...Just pick your beach!
God willing I'll be working it! STAY SAFE AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!

Sitting here in Fernandina Beach waiting. The sky is overcast and the wind has picked up significantly.
