Sand came back so fast:shrug:

Dos the 12 go Deeper N dos it get small stuff???? MickFin

It still gets tiny little items that fall through my scoop and drive me nuts to find.....depth is improved also. I'm just getting use to it....it seems to be able to run more stable with the sensitivity turned way up also....like I said I'm just getting the feel of it...but so far I love what I see!!

Did you have Bill Babbs put that extra handle on, or did you have it done yourself? I've been thinking I should do that - I'm not a very big guy and when I get too far out in the water (both salt and fresh), I often have to really manhandle that scoop to bring up the finds and end up wasting alot of time and effort cause I can't seem to get a good grip.

Got there today... Saturday at low tide. Hampton up at the rocky cove was all purple sand. Few coins but nothing or should I say, Didn't make enought for gas home....

That is the same scoop I have from Babb's. The best thing about that scoop is you can take it apart and it fits in a standard size suitcase for travel. HH

I use a Babbs too, and LOVE it..But I'm getting geared up to make a scoop on my own..Will make a few of them and let the guys and gals from the club try them out..If they like 'em, I'll try to keep the cost down and sell some here and ebay....Larry (the Palm Bay Pirate)
