Any day at the beach is better than sitting in front of the TV! Even better when you can meet up with buds to do it. Plus, you can never tell what the beach is going to do, what part of the beach is going to produce, and what havoc a single tide can bring. We're lucky folks like George have the time they do to check things out and the generosity to share (most ;) ) of the info!

Your posts keep my blood going and get me down to the beach. Spent many years driving 30 miles on dry runs, so I know what a crap shoot our beaches can be.

One of my best hunts was after a nothing little storm in May. I was the only one on the beach after work. The sand was smooth and there was silver and gold everywhere. Then again, I've gone down after (or during)the worst Nor'easters you can imagine and haven't found a darn thing.
