Roadtrip produces a small tribe of injuns

Yesterday I was out of bed at 3:30am, and on the road by shortly after 4am.....I drove 2 hrs to Columbus to meet my buddy Kyle (Nooberz) and from there we drove another hour plus south to hit some old sites

We hit some fields and old houses, nothing newer than 1850. I was shocked we didn't get anything older, but I had a blast anyhow. We hunted over 8 hours and I was beat by days end!

I managed three indians, 1859 fatty, and two 1887's....got a silver quarter, bunch wheats, nice skeleton key. Small flat cuff button, flat pewter button and clad. Pretty decent day!

Good day and a good time, can't beat that. Thanks for the good pictures and congrats on a good day. Why are there holes in some of the old coins? I always thought they made a necklace or something but the hold is pretty small.

Hunting with a friend is well worth the small return. Sounds like it was a great time.

Thx 4 pic's and story,

Great hunt! Looks like you had a great day with a good friend and some cool finds to show for it. As others said, what else can any of us want? Thanks for sharing and happy hunting -Marc

Damn them to hell for holing the fatty! Great hunt Goes....as always.

Looks great!! I love to road trip like that too. Sun up to sun down and into dark and at the end of the day so tired that you are asleep the second your head hits the pillow. Exteme Detecting:super:
