With a drought going on and extremely high temperatures, I have been trying a couple of local rivers.
With the exception of finding a large cent near where an old ferry used to be, all other coins are modern clad although I have got some 1965-1967 dates.
Today I found a few older non coin items and thought others may enjoy seeing them.
Not sure of the age.. (all guesses welcome), but pictured are a doorknob, and what I believe to be the remains of some old thermostats for automobiles.
The one by itself is stamped with " STANT" and the other two are stamped with "DETROIT LUBRICATON. COMPANY".
Kind of unique finds and made the day more interesting.
Thanks for looking and any help on ID and age of these items!
