Rethink and revisit

During the lull for some of you in colder climates why not think about all the places you have dug goodies and see if there are a few that you might consider revisiting when the Spring hits. As we are all so fond of saying "sites are never completely worked out", why not reconsider a few that you have crossed off.

An example : an old site I hit probably 8-10 times over the years produced this Civil War Mounted Rifle eagle button a year ago. Actually, the exact hillside where I dug it was gone over a lot by me in the past. This button is quite rare - at least away from the eastern battlefields.

And you may have coins and such that you have gotten likewise, on revisiting places. So why not think long & hard about revisiting some of them when the chance comes, Spring is just 3 weeks away !

Try a smaller coil. You may find some goodies that the big coil could not seperate! Good post Steve!
