Reinstalled v3.2 tonight on a whim...and now 12 khz is HOT! :jump:

There is only one version of the software available for download which is V3.2 and of course, V2.0.

XP would let users know of a change as they have in the past so don't worry - when a new version is released you will read about it everywhere.

Thank you for weighing in on this one...I suspected that the "old 3.2" didn't install 100% but like I said before...I am not complaining one iota, simply stating an observation! The difference at least to me was enough to take note, and then naturally questions arose. Thanks again for your help!

Andy you dont understand, it is a secret update for secret users!

As long as it works, all is good.....

Seriously thanks for the input Andy

I have a v3.2 unit about three months old, with WS5 headphones and 9 inch coil. Will this new update increase my depth a couple inches? Or does my unit have the latest undated already?

You have the lastest and if you read what Andy wrote then you will know that you don't need to do an update

Hey I tried to get the ;atest update, 3.2 but once you select download update and install on computer, it is actually 3.1

Are you guys sure you installed 3.2? Maybe you went to 3.1 and that is why the diff performance????

Or XP took down 3.2 for some reason.

Jim

Yeah I did not load it. If you download the software onto your computer, you click to install, it will tell you install version 3.1, not 3.2......

try it (you will not need the Deus, just open the software)

Jim

When you put the installer application on your computer it simply opens a conduit to pull down a specific file and ther installer was written to pull down V2.0 and teh latest version at hthe time the installer file was written; i.e., you will not see V3.0, V3.1 and V3.2 listed.

If you are seeing V3.1 on the drop down menu, simply go to the DEUS UPDATE page, click on the DOWNLOAD DEUS UPDATE icon almost at the bottom of the page and reinstall the APPLICATION on your computer. Then do the normal steps to update the software and you will see V3.2 or V2.0 as the choices.

Here is the link to the DEUS UPDATE page . . . . . WEB PAGE

Hope this helps

Andy

Thanks Andy, I did all that and when installing it gives 3.1 for the folder name. No sign of 3.2....

You do not have to install the software, to try this, just do as you posted and when you click to install when it gives you the folders that it iwll install on your HD, it goes 3.1 not 3.2......

So either the 3.2 in going into a folder named 3.1, or it is 3.1 going into the folder 3.1.....

I have never had anything other than 3.2 on my Deus or computer, I have reinstalled my software before and never seen this....

Jim

Ok XP sent this msg:
Continue to download this software (DEUS UPDATE software 3.1), then launch it and then this software will allow you to download the latest version 3.2 for you DEUS.

SO as you see it does say 3.1...how stupid. But anyway I guess it is the "Downloader" not the software....

think they would have named it all same version....

Jim

Question? Can you load the 3.2 over the existing 3.2, because I'm seeing on the forum that it makes a difference in the operation of the unit.

Reloading simply reinstalls teh option you select - V2.0 or V3.2. If you have V3.2 already, there is no need to reinstall the software as it will install exactly what you have now and wipe out any custom settings you have saved.

Yep so if you do it, copy your custom progs first....
