Recent hunts....

Last fall I was hunting in an historic area and pulled an unfamiliar looking copper with a beautiful Indian head on the obverse. My heart was pumping......this was going to be good !! After a bit of careful dirt removal, I saw the name Pontiac across the top of the coin. This was getting better. I look real close and it says "Chief of the Sixes". Turns out to be a token that G.M. started making in the twenties, I believe, to commemorate their six-cylinder engine. Probably not quite the disappointment you had to feel but yours ranks as a much better "consolation" prize. Good hunting !!
