Haven't had a lot of time to post lately. Still working a lot of overtime and helping my mother at the farm. Any spare time has been spent detecting
Two weeks ago headed out to the house site with the dirt bike course. When I got there the fire pit was still smoking, there were beer & liquor bottles scattered everywhere and one very drunk 18'ish kid still remained. Helped him round up his back pack, skateboards, shirt and shoes. He'd fallen into the fire and his hands and scalp were burned all to crap so I stashed my gear and walked him out of the woods to a bus stop and made sure he got on. Brought back a few memories
When I got back there was an old guy gathering up all the bottles. He lives nearby and whenever he see's a fire he go's out in the morning and makes himself a few $'s.
The cellar holes had dried out pretty much so thats where I spent most of the day. Picked some stuff out of the trash people have been throwing in over the years. Also put on the small coil for a couple of hours and picked around in the party area.
Dug two silver rings & eyeballed a small silver earing. I think the engraved brass thing is an umbrella tip.

A couple of bells. 8 of those so far this year. The one with the 6 is very old.

The coins are an 1844 US cent, 1887 Canadian, 1861 New Brunswick, a badly holed blacksmith token and a 1928 dime. I think the Empire State think is a key fob.

I found the point when I dug up an aluminum bottle cap. Sure would have been nice if it were whole.

Thanks for looking & GH, Chris
