Received the X-70 today, Very impressed!

Good to hear you have had a chance to see how it will do Paul. It may not have all the features of the X-70 or T2 but for its price it is a worthy little machine.

Thanks
Tom

That's a beautiful aircraft and model Paul, not to mention huge! It looks like a quarter scale.
We have a few of that type here in Australia that do the Air show circuit. They were flown here from the Dutch East Indies when Japan invaded there back in WW11. They are always a pleasure to watch fly as they have a real presence about them. A very majestic aircraft from a golden era of aviation.
I think that you could have a lot of fun with your FW190. You can chase all of those P51's around that seem to proliferate most clubs.:starwars:
Back on subject a bit,. It looks like you have enough detectors to start your own shop.. Not hard to do.
Good luck and happy flying with your model.
Mick Evans.
PS. I went the other way and bought a Pico Cub the other day and hope to have it flying shortly.

You will really like the 10.5 DD. I used that combo all summer and got great depth and sensitivity. Very stable coil, you can run sen. almost at max.

Hello Bob,

Been following your post on the SE and X-70, Good info.

The X-70 10.5" DD should be here this coming tuesday, I'm hoping this coil will enhance the unit to be a better park detector going after the deep coins.

So far the X-70 operates well, Not a bad detector for the money.

Hi Paul,

I checked the X-70 forum today, and I noticed that you had just gotten a X-70. I am a very happy T2 user, and I have read a number of your post on the T2.

After you have had time to use X-70, and formed some conclusions would you please send me an email and let me know what you
think of the X-70. I am waiting for the F75, but the X-70 sounds
interesting. I use my T2 mainly for coin-shooting and it works great.

Thanks, Bill

Sent you a PM Bill,

you guys crack me up lol......sounds like your all working for the KGB or something hahahah why so secretive?
Cheers!

Like I shared with Bill,

I've used the X-70 for about 2 weeks, Still haven't got a solid conclusion if the unit will be one of my main detectors but so far it's been an impressive machine. It is good for gold jewelry and other areas and I'm still using the detector at the older iron masking areas and soon will use the X-70 with the 10.5" DD coil for deep park silver as well. So I'm still in the learning stages, So many different types of detecting to try the X-70 on.

Today, Spent some time out at an old site full of man made iron. Masking at it's worse so it's differcult to pull out a good target from this area, Did manage to get a few old age indicators and today I finally started to get a good feel for the X-70 at this type of site. The X-70 is a very good detector, Just need to use and learn more about the unit before I can honestly decide if it will be one of my main detectors.

My main type of detecting is relic hunting, So what works for me may not work for others, Over all the X-70 is petty darn good.

Paul,

I tried to send you a PM, but the error message stated that your mail box was full. So, I am asking my question below.

I am particularly interested in your comparison of the XT70 to the T2. From reading your posts, I believe you have had more experience with T2. I spent quite some time reading both the XT70 and the T2 forums before deciding on the T2. I have continued to wonder if I made the best choice.

Thanks,
Glenn
