Really down on Tesoro right now

But the very first time I fired it up the constant chattering was horrible, how it got out the door like that is beyond me. Even once it arrived back to Tesoro (I cant remember the guys names who called) was shocked how it was acting and apologized repeatedly to me.

And yeah, it is great that Tesoro has a lifetime warranty but to me what happened this summer still really bugged me. They litterally had this machine for 3 months between the two visits and not a single time was I updated on its progress though I did call them about every two weeks.

The machine finally arrived today and it seems to be working perfectly which I am happy about.

I dont believe I ever really said anything horrible about Tesoro or anyone working there, I was just stating the facts that has happened to me, more just blowing off steam.

I am glad to hear you got your detector back and it is in good working order. This makes me feel a little better about maybe sending mine in. There is nothing worse then a bad service situation. In any industry.
 
Interesting thread, or perhaps I should say entertaining. More opinions flying around than mosquitoes in a swamp, about the same amount of whine too. Any company can have problems with occasional warranty repairs, even Tesoro. When you consider that only a small fraction of people will post about how happy they are with a product compared to the percentage that will immediately post when they are unhappy, then note how very many positive posts Tesoro's service gets...well. The numbers speak for themselves. They are an outstanding company when it comes to customer service. In my opinion anyhow...
