Real nice start to a aborted hunt.

Hunting a favorite soccer that gets pounded often enough I popped my first coin after a good while. A penny, turns out a 1934 Wheat Back. Real nice opening for a hunt. Than here they come. A convoy of grass mowing equipment. Well the field has to be maintained. Hunting with the X sure is a lot of fun.. So much so I'm thinking of getting a smaller coil for some areas.

I've got the 5.75" round coil and it is a laser! I use it in iron laden sites where it is great and have tried it in modern trash areas, like around picnic tables at parks. With the gain and threshold set very low, it does a great job of separating all the modern targets. With more use I feel I will be better able to tell more of the aluminum trash from the good targets. My parks aren't hit much at all and most of the modern trash is blanketing the surface.
