Rare dime to sale

This might be a really dumb question. If it is, I apologize for it.

With no mint mark, how do they know it's from the SF mint? Were dimes only minted in SF in 1975?

Proof coins don't look like mint coins and they only made proofs in SF . So if you have a proof 75 dime it was struck in SF . There in a proof set with the other coins having s mint mark and the dime missing the s . It's rare because only 2 known sube
