Racer 3

What features would you guys like to see on the Racer 3 when it eventually arrives. I think a multi frequency racer would be good. Water Proofing. A stand to stop it falling over. A bit thicker Grip.
Any ideas !

stop it falling over, keep the electronics off the ground and the cover fits also.

laugh at me if you will, but it works real good doesn't get in the way and has never fallen over sure if I had the manufacturing access Makro has I could do a lot better. http://www.findmall.com/read.php?102,2268140

simple fix and its cheap and it works. you could always cut the winged keel off but I quite like it being an Aussie and all, gives it a touch of down under.

and to add to that I am just writing to get out of going outside its stinkn hot and I don't want to mow the grass

Maybe a small concentric search coil, like maybe in the 5 to 7 inch range. Something that would also work on the other Racers.

AJ, I can relate to what you say about it being stinking hot!! (I'm in northern NSW). Winged keel sounds good, makes it go faster......need to change the colour to green & gold though.

still here in the air con cant seem to get to that grass, ok I am going now oh dear, what happened to I came I saw I concreted oh that's a different culture, gotta love Aussie humour

yeah seems summer is going to run over, good I might get some water melons planted them late on a hope, sometimes maybe we just get lucky although if I have learnt one thing about growing food its not a success until its in my mouth, gesse I am really procrastinating

just done a bit of pre season training bugger its hot must have lost a kilo getting down to my detecting weight for the big winter dig

I wish my Racer 2 would hurry up and get here.Its going to be close to 70 here early next week.My NEL 12x13 coil just arrived today and I'm itching to test it out.I guess I'll just put it on the red Racer and give it a go as soon as it warms up a bit.The10x13 Mars MD Tiger should be here Monday so I should be armed and ready!

Maybe a Makro version of the new Nokta Relic? But I suppose it would have a different name than Racer. Or maybe Relic Racer would work?

I don't think anyone would cancel the order des. I think not much more could be added to a racer 3 any way. .

I like the direction they took the R2 from the R1.

Additional features I'd like to see:

• Multiple frequencies (at once) which the Impact appears to have.
  
• More depth (always looking for that).
  
• RED LED adjustable backlight.
  
• Don't need the vibrating handle (why add the weight/cost?).
  
• Please don't get rid of the trigger, love having the trigger on my machines!

I'd like an always on 'running' depth guage (inches or cm), and the ability to gate the audio with the depth, ie audio off unless depth is greater than say 4"...

Got my Racer 2, a day or so ago. Have had two very short runs with it so far....It will take a bit of adjusting, following upon the Red Racer (still got it btw). Next time out I hope to try a few new settings...like it so far.

I would like the racer 3 to have different tones on the detector like the Tesoro golden umax had.It had 8 different tones for
the different targets it hit on.I live in ohio could you please see if you could make these different size coils a concentric,1st.
5inch-next 7inch-next 8inch-next 10inch.This would be very helpful with people that dont use dd coils.Thank you..

any nuggets out there FT I know there is gold around that area, but not sure on size, but GR will find small bits, yeah not much fun digging in hard ground is it, I have a few different hand tools for when its OH roof time , still hard work what ever tool I use.

good job on the R2 let us know how you are getting on with it as time passes!

Hello all! Just wanted to chime in to avoid any potential rumors :- ) There is no Racer 3 in our current product roadmap as we just released the Racer 2.
