Quick Comparison - Ace 150 vs 250

...Same deal, Bill. Negative mineralization that nulls. Not desirable, but definitely real world. Like I said, it works for me, but may not for another.

However, having mixed my share of concrete over the years, I have never seen such sand used. Clean quartz sand is always whats available, especially from commercial sources..

Notice, though, that I also didnt decry the use of air testing - only suggesting that it is best employed for comparison purposes.
 
Oh yeah air testing is a viable procedure and one I use often. If a detector or coil won't cut it in an air test it sure ain't going to cut it in the real world.
