Question on the 6000XL Pro. Like Help Digger, or anyone that really knows this Machine.

when I have the knob turned to GEB/DISC, and pass the coil over a good target, the audio has a definitive "width" to it. When I pull the trigger, temporarily putting the XLPro into the GEB/NORM mode, and again X over the same target, I listen carefully to the "width" of the tone. IF the audio tone is the same "width" or wider (as in GEB/DISC mode), it will not likely be a coin. If the audio width is narrower in all metal than it was in discriminate, then odds are good it will be a keeper. As well, when I pull the trigger into the temporary GEB/NORM mode, and take a peek at the meter while I am Xing over the target, IF the needle makes an ever-so-slight motion to the left, it is likely not a coin. I know that it should be telling me the depth of the target. But I swear, everytime that needle makes a slight movement to the left, it has not been a coin. HH Randy

Sweep as it will probably be like the XLT I used for about 6 years. Never did like 4 filters. That is not what I bought this detector for. I bought it for the no motion target ID and the fact the machine will ID in 4 different modes. No other detector has that or will do that. I will sure try all the info. that you have Posted. :D: :D: :clapping: :please: Thanks Jerry aka Tinfoil
