Question for NH, MA beach hunters.

I usually don't go further south than York, Maine, which has pretty dark/black sand, see pic. Are any of the beaches in NH, Seabrook etc. milder, and can you GB any of your single freq machines in the damp/wet sand on them? I am looking for a milder beach than what I have over Maine way.

I USE A BEACH HUNTER ID NOW EVERYWHERE WITH OUT PROBLEMS.BUT I USE TO USE A CLASSIC III SL. IT WOULD RUN GOOD MOST OF THE TIME FROM HAMPTON SOUTH AND ALWAYS RAN GREAT ON PLUM ISLAND BEACHES.HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT.

Hi Barnicle Bill, I agree with Beach Hunter. Hampton is pretty white sand and also full of crushed shells in some spots. I use a Minelab EX11 and can go from dry to wet sand light or dark with no problems. I find York Beaches to have the darker sands but it's ok with my Minelab. Hope this helps.
