I used the MXT for 3 of the 4 hunts. I tried my GTAx 550 the very first hunt. I know it a lot better and know how hot it is on coins. Problem was, it was just too heavy to swing fast for very long, even with the batteries on my belt. The MXT sounded off as good as any detector could and weight never became an issue; definitely the detector to use.
