Question about Koss headphones.

Greg (E.Tn)

Well-known member
Seems like most are pretty satisfied with Koss headphones.

I've seen some for sale on the big retailers anywhere from $18.00 to $70.00.

Is there any reason NOT to purchase a more affordable set instead of a set made for a particular brand of metal detector?

That is a great question.. Perhaps Dave J can supply the answer for that question.

I had a set of Koss QZ99 phones on my F70 and they seemed to work really well. Decided to try a set of sunray progolds and there is a difference...the sunrays just sound better. But for the price the Koss phones work very well. I now use them on my compadre.

Koss makes a model of phones for the minelab, but they also make another cheaper model for the consumer market that looks pretty much the same.

They offer a lifetime warranty on some, if not all of their phones.
