Quest pro wireless Headphones

I saw a U-tube video showing the Deus 2 WS6 puck fitting in a set of Quest pro 1702.1 headphones made for the Deus 1 WS4 puck. Will the WS6 puck operate properly in the Quest headphones?

I wish that I could find a set in stock. Last week several places had them in stock, but they seem to be sold out everywhere.

I've seen a couple of different videos with people saying they work with the Deus II puck. I ordered two of them a couple weeks ago. My detector is supposed to be here Tuesday, I'll post have they work.

Thanks for the replies. I wear hearing aids and the back phones would probably be uncomfortable. These full headphones would be the answer. I am lucky enough to have my deus 2 on the way, but with a foot and a half of snow in Buffalo, NY, it may be a while to use it.

I picked up a set of these They are in stock and they're not made in China these are the platinum series with the upgraded speakers and internals

Thanks basstrackerman. A good alternative. A disadvantage though, is that the puck mount is external and the puck could be snagged of while walking through brush.

These would be my pick if I get the Deus 2, mainly for two reasons...I've used the GG and like them and I've had nothing but trouble with the Quest wireless transmitter/headphones years ago. So I'll pass on the Quest headphones.

If your WS4 puck will work on any of the aftermarket headphones, then the WS6 puck will work.
I use the DETEKNIX DHDWS4 headphones and they work great.
My WS6 puck fits and works great.

Ive used the older version of the grey ghost headphones and I did worry about that, but I use 3M Velcro that held the puck on . I attached the Velcro to each side, slid puck on the connected the Velcro strap together over the puck. I don't think I would have ever needed the Velcro though as the puck is on there pretty solid.

These are my deteknix quest phones I bought a few years years ago for my WS4 puck.
Don’t remember the model number, but I just tried em with the WS6 and they work just fine.
They look a little rough, but that’s because I have been using them every outing for the past 2 or 3 years. No issues.

I saw a video of a person that had to grind a little plastic off the headphones where the puck locks in. He said it was only a MM or so to get the puck to fully lock. The video was on YouTube.
