Pull tabs

shooter

Member
Working that old Drive-in movie loaded with trash Can't get rid of the pull tabs and old rusty bottle cap . this drive-in dates tp the 40s. The F75ltd 2 while there in the ground won't nock them out but on top there gone same with the cap sand that's with max disc. . Had to send it in cause I broke the head of the handle so I'm using my 1270 for now, she seems to do a little better but not much, any help here on that.

I have a F75 and F70 and many other new detectors but none of them discs out pull tabs like my Tesoros. I did notice when a coin is near a pull tab, if you disc out up to 48, the coin, except for nickels, will read 49-51 or 52. If you disc 51 or 52, coins read 53-55 or so, always just a few numbers above disc set point.

that's interesting, is that on the F75 because I'll be in the the 50 range but i'm still looking for the higher number of the scale for coins and not digging the upper fifty's or low sixty's numbers. So your saying with high disc. your good signals are coming in less then the scale numbers at the ID numbers. is that correct?

so I should dig anything above disc setting regardless of confidence reading,
