Prizm IV users....your opinions appreciated please

Wow, that must be some Ace you got theere. I have NEVER found a target of any kind past 6 inches with my Ace.:detecting:

I said it was an air test. All my tests are in all metal disc mode with the sens maxed out. If a detector has an adjustable GB then I set it right in the center of the adjustment. I measure a repeatable signal with a wooden ruler. Your soil may vary. Since most finds are from surface to 6 inches most detectors will detect well into that range. But most can penetrate deeper than that. Even the sniper coil can detect good targets in moderate soil at 6 inches. Really it's about target response and speed of recovery that's more important than depth in my opinion in coin and jewelry hunting. The prizms and the aces are about the same in that respect. No there not the fastest by any means. But with a slow sweep do a good job.
