Printing Plate in the Creek

During a river hunt I stumbled across a nearly complete lead printing plate, probably from the early 1900s. Its condition is excellent for having been submerged for nearly a century, so I donated it to a local museum with a printing press exhibit. I reversed the image so it can be read better.

Finds like this are why I enjoy metal detecting. You never know what can be hiding. Nice find!

I've found 2 other pieces of printing plates around this area before, but this is by far the nicest one.
