Pricing question deciding question again!

Congratulations George and a BIG Congratulations to Penny. I am about 75% there on getting the MXT myself. But with six kids, 3 in college, I have to really watch the money. Hopefully, I can find enough to pay for itself this summer. Like, maybe, a 10 pound nugget!!

Let us know how the Fairgrounds hunt goes!

George; I am a white's dealer. I wanted to tell you you done good. That is a very competative price. I just sold a fellow a MXT 300 to give his wife for Mothers Day. First day she said it was to heavy. After she used it for a couple days you couldn't pry it out of her hands. He also liked it so well, he ordered anouther for himself and asked me to sell his %$#@& for him. Now they are out togather with their Matching MXT 300 team and Happy Campers.

Thanks! To tell you the truth I was looking at used units when my wife first showed interest. Then I got to thinking, me having a DFX and some coils, batteries another DFX, MXTor M6 would fit my bill best. Then again thinking of the 12" supper coil on the MXT would really bring down the price of the unit as I was thinking about that coil for myself.. By the time I added up the pin-pointer soft case ,head set and coil cover that got the MXT down to a darn good price. I would have had to get the other stuff for her anyway. I hope she really likes the hobby and I'm glad she showed interest and is willing to try it. Heck with the two of of hitting each place it doubles our odds on finding the good stuff..George

Yep that's about where I was *75%* till I read Skips reply! I was lucky enough to make a good find a few weeks ago with my DFX( not that I'll be selling it any time soon) so that too helped justify things.. If you get a MXT 300 they have a good deal going on now with the case and pin-pointer that 12" coil alone is $249 so all and all you can't go to wrong. You can look at it this way, get it use it if you get hard up for money sell it. I'm sure you will make your $300 dollars or so loss in the time you have it.. You could stand to sell it for $500 if you keep t in good shape.. Just a little more food for thought here.. SKIP come on here's another arm you can twist!!! Best of luck!! George
