I also wounder how long you gave the DFX a chance, I suppose you know the GTI inside out and there fore I am not surprised by what your telling me.
I like your gold, nice pics. I don't even have that size around here most in under 1000 Micron
I like something I can adjust to where I am hunting right now the GTI can't be adjusted to that level which is what I want it to be.

the discriminate mode you can adjust it more than the GTI. Like adjusting amount of dicrimination is nice. Cant do that on GTI's. You will enjoy it I'm sure. HH Alan

Why can't ya adjust it as much on a GTI 2500. My GTI 2500 has more then enough to cover any hunt I can do. Ya got me lost on this one

If you mean the -95 too +95 your correct sorta, however I have found my Garrett will go as low as I want and as high as I want on rejection and excepting any targets.
Also I have found what White states in the manual to be true, that any numbers in the range of -30 to -40 will impact/cause a loss of depth on targets. However yes again you be correct, as one can choose more numbers to reject,accept in the plus zone also, but have not found it to be any better in blocking out a certain item/target that my GTI can't. Both have their + and - points eh!
