Platinum!!!

Hey Everyone! I am overjoyed to report that I have pulled my first Platinum ring. I went out this morning for the mid morning low and I was out in the deep stuff (my teeth were under the water), and I got a nice Med/High mixed tone that leaned towards high. I dug two scoops down and still didn't have the target and I thought to myself, this must be a big egg sinker. I took one more scoop and shook it out and I saw a decent sized silver wedding band sitting in the basket. I picked it up and immediately thought This thing is heavy.....White gold?. I turned it over and read PT950!!! I was so excited I forgot my mouth was under the water and I accidentally took a few gulps when I inhaled...LOL. Again, big thanks to my friend John...without whom I wouldn't be finding squat!

Dig, find one this winter on eBay. I got one for 350.00 off that site with a hard case in perfect condition. Maybe just maybe you will do better!!! Good luck with your fried unit.

Was in a jewelry store this week checking price of a plat ring similar to that one retailed at $1200
gold equivalent was listed at $400
Very heavy ring for sure.
