Plastic enclosure for a metal detector project

I'd like to put a wilson r & c series circuit board into a plastic enclosure. It's too big to fit into a Gold Mountain King Cobra shell. Does anyone know of a vendor or supplier that sells plastic housings for electronics projects that offer a 6" X 4.75" X 3.25"?

Straker, Go to Walmart and get a water proof box for about anything you need, I got one for my billfold, and one for my gun. They have a rubber sill like water detectors, you just drill holes where you need them and sill around your coil wire. Thay way you can open and set your detector and reclose. Back in sporting goods.

Thanks for the replies! I might just use CDC gasket remover to take off the power coating on the wilson control box and then paint it.

Checkout allelectronics.com, they have a good selection of project boxes metal plastic etc.
Thanks for the information! Didn't see one high enough,so I'll probably use the existing box and will find a suitable color paint for it. Would like to know if there is an alternative to paint? Would like to find some sort of protective permanent colored coating.

I've used PVC junction boxes with pretty good results but 6" is pretty big for them, it might get a little heavy. The upshot is that they are waterproof or at least water resistant and feedthroughs are a breeze. They are pretty inexpensive and can be had at the local "big box hardware store" of your choice.

Lots of them on ebay search ------------plastic project boxes
