Sunday morning who should knock on my front door but my treasure hunting mate, Lee. I was a little foggy from the previous night's party and the fact that the clocks had sprung ahead by an hour didn't help either - still in all I was happy to see a fellow surf pirate.
I got Lee a mug of joe and he produced a large basket full of loot that he didn't want so he was giving it to me as a gift. Lee is leaving Bermuda this month to get married to his lovely bride-to-be Susan and so he was cleaning house and as his brother pirate I was gifted with a pile of clad and some silver.

The loot was in the same state as lee had found it because he doesn't have a tumbler to clean up his finds. I do have a tumbler and that's what I have been doing since Sunday, tumbling nasty old clad and silver bits and bobs in my single tumbler. It cleaned up pretty nicely.

The clad came to a little less than $200, plus a few ounces of silver. Now that's what I call a Good Mate!

Thanks Lee and Best of Luck on Your Next Adventure,
BDA
PS: I couldn't very well let Lee leave my house empty handed and all the rum had been consumed at last nights party so I gave Lee my brand new waterproof pinpointer. I hope he'll be able to put it to good use finding gold nuggets in the streams of Georgia, where Lee and Susan will be making their new home.
