I went through pretty much all of them, thanks to the generous return policy of an unspecified retailer. XP MI series beats the socks off the rest in my hunting conditions. For extended hunts I also pack a spare pinpointer, just in case – usually another MI, but for long camping trips I replace it with F-Pulse, since it takes regular batteries. It's not as fast to work with, but still gets the job done, and certainly outperforms the Carrot.
