Pettibone didn’t start producing buttons until 1872. Pretty button though but not civil war

I bought 18 buttons. Some are civil war and some are post. I am selling all of them. I have two Massachusetts. I really liked the pettibone and thought about keeping it.

I will be posting these for sale soon. I keep everything I find but sell some of what I buy. Lol. I haven’t been detecting in a few weeks and haven’t done any civil war hunting in a while.
