Pain in forearm and tendon? Newbie problem?

I know this sounds like a joke, but if you run your disc a little lower, you will dig more and give that arm a little rest from just swinging.

I don't like this one but it can be done, switch arms for swing and give that primary one a rest. I had to do that when I had surgery on my right wrist.

I also use a home made sling, still today, and believe me I can tell real quick if I forget to hook up after a dig. I know there are slings out there that do better supporting the detector, but all I have ever seen or used, once hooked up it is not easy to get unhooked and hooked back up. So I will stay with my home made one.

Thanks for the tip.
I'm not to the point of needing a sling.

Actually, a small adjustment as I aid above of leaving my elbow bent and more drawn back rather than having it outstretched and straight while swinging has made 1000% difference. Pain is down to more of a dull pain that accompanies healing rather than the sharp pain of injury, so I believe I solved the problem but time will definitely tell. Feels wonderful.
Will take longer to cover an area because my sweep width went from 6 ft to 3 or so, but worth it. Plus there's no hurry where I hunt. With what I've found I'm pretty sure Moines been there ever. Even a child's bounty hunter would have found a 64 half dollar lmao.

Glad to hear you are getting control of the problem.

Good luck,
