Packing for air travel

Lower shaft is 32" long without a coil attached. The main unit with the control box removed is: 22-1/2" long, 11" high, and 4-1/2" wide. I have no idea on current carry-on luggage dimensions, so I don't know if it all will fit or not..............HH
 
Thanks. For example, AirCanada allowance is 9 in x 15.5 in x 21.5 in so; it looks like the control box, upper shaft and the coil could go into carry on and lower shaft would go into check in.Not the most convenient way to travel but acceptable to me.
