Yesterday was Canada's birthday, a holiday for most. I had to work, but wanted to hunt this park real bad, as I was there last night ans witnessed thousands of people on blankets sitting on a huge hillside. I headed home right after work, got my equipment together and went straight to this park. After about 3 hours of hunting, I got a nice pile of loot and a piece of pipe of unknown source for some type of pluming. :)

You did well John in that park !
I went out this morning at 5 am and work our park for 2 hours got about $5 in clad and small silver necklace.
Two other people detecting there, I talked to a fellow who ha been there digging since the early seventies
and he said its the worst at finding anything this year.
Sure left the place a mess .Garbage everywhere:yikes:
Was using the ACE 250 and most of my finds were visual.

July 4th Fireman's Carnival in a small tourist town not far from here. I'm looking forward to it being over so I can go down and scout things out with my Ace.:detecting:

Nice haul. I think you might have found a pressure release valve used to stop stress inside a complicated biped system. But thern again it might be something else.

You haven't been using that little piece of pipe, I hope! Nice haul, John. Cool medal!

Chris

:usaflag:Yes...that is definately a pipe for flushing out your brain....nice finds !!

walk over to the police drug sniffing dog. Make sure you are wearing thickly padded clothing if the dog is active as opposed to passive. You also might want to make sure your health insurance is current. :heh:

Nice haul John, I think you found Cwilk's pipe :smoke:

I'll take that pipe!!! LOL! Those are some neat finds! I'm jealous of that Hockey Medallion. That looks cool! Keep up the good work!:clapping:
