Otex pinpointers

Do any of you have a Otex pinpointers? If so can you comment on it ? I can not go with the Garrets & other $$$ pinpoint finders.
At the same time I don,t want a GP or other cheap ones as that. Plus the $50 Otex is water prof & a mid range. Your thoughts?

Well I pulled the plug & bought one for $40. So far is great. I even used it under water walking the river bank.
It seems well made and works as advertised. We shall see over time, but for now I have no complaints.
