Ordered a Fisher F2

I'm new here,and just ordered my first MD. A Fisher F2 with 3 coils,pin pointer. Are there and "tips" to using this MD? I can't wait to get started in this hobby. Ron
 
Welcome to the forums. I do not own a F2 but with any detector just remember to take it slow and listen. Everything will fall into place. Try out some air targets first to see where they read and then hit the dirt. GL and HH
