Order Simplex?

Ordered August 1st. Still waiting. It will probably snow here in Michigan before I see my unit. Disappointing for all the excitement it generated when pre-ordering was announced.

I have two Simplex detectors on order.....the basic model for me and my hunting buddy wanted the detector with the wireless headphones. The Simplex will be his first Nokta / Makro detector, and he's really excited about it.

Joe Dirt,
You need to sell some of those detectors. You're using up all the forum's band width with your signature. :surprised:

Watching some UK done YouTube videos comparing Simplex to high end detectors and it looks really promising.

Getting cold here in VA, can’t wait till they arrive in US

Ordered mine a week ago here in Canada, probably have quite a wait, hopefully there will be a 9in concentric for it available soon as well.

A 9 inch coil is too close to the standard coil size, plus the current 9 in has the rod mount too far to the rear to balance well. A 7-inch concentric is much more versatile, and their current design has the rod mount more centered for better balance and feel.

I have both the 7 and 9 concentric for my Multi, I find the concentric coils hit our Canadian clad much better than the stock DD and the 9in gives me a bit more coverage but in tight areas the 7 wins.

Hey everyone I have been digging for a few years this is my first post just joined the treasure forums today! Glad to be here! I went to pound the ground got my hands on the simplex and ordered one that night. I live in Kittery Maine and dig in New Hampshire and Massachusetts as well so in this part of the country waterproof machine going to make my life easier for fields woods and beach, sounds like Kellyco will get me mine around Halloween I am looking forward to it. Nice to meet all of you this is a great site

Welcome to the Findmall Forums!

So, what was it at 'Pound-the-Ground' that encouraged you to order a Simplex+ that evening?

• Balance and feel?
• Waterproof design?
• Retail price?
• Physical design, such as grip feel or appearance of ruggedness or ???
• Control lay-out or simplicity of feature adjustment?
• Demonstrated performance, if you got to check that out?

• Other reason(s)?

I know I am ready to get mine in my hands as I have a detecting trip planned and hope to make it before colder and/or whiter weather arrives.

Monte

Hey Monte all the above, but the waterproof sold me I kayak to locations quite a bit and have had some close calls it feels good and only swung it for a minute but all seemed right . What put me in the market so suddenly was the price to get the waterproof unit, I have nothing comparable so I will have what I thought was unreachable for my budget hope this helps.
