Opinion on the Deus 1

I've been looking at the Deus 1 can anyone tell me there opinion on it ? Does it have good depth? Any information from users of this machine would help
 
It was considered one of the best. Light, fast, deep etc. A lot of users wanted them to come out with a SMF and they did- the Deus 2. The original did have some faults but is still a good detector. Keep in mind there’s more to finding “your” detector than just performance and the latest and greatest. Watch as many YouTube videos of it as you can. That should tell you more than someone’s opinion.

I have the legend and it's a great machine but I have always thought about getting a deus ...I have seen you tuber paystreak super freak use it many times and he looks like he really enjoys it
 
I've used my Deus 1 non-stop for the last 9 years - thousands of great finds - it's a fantastic machine !
I use Gary's "Sifter" and "Hot" programs in Full Tones 95 % of the time - they work very,very well !

I have not used any program other than #9 HOT. The stuff I find,awesome.
 
I used a D1 for several years but ended up selling it because it had real shortcomings on a wet salt beach. Since 90 % of my hunting is on Florida beaches, I just couldn’t use the D1. I will say however, it performed exceeding well on land.
Now that I have two D2s, I feel like I have the best of all worlds…..

I ran a Deus 1 with a good deal of success several years ago just preferred the CTX in the long run for the tones. The things I never clicked with on the Deus was the digital tones and the constant multiple battery charging. As far as depth , speed and discrimination goes it is top notch.
 
Still have my Deus 1 and running the 3.2 version. Attended Andy Sabich's boot camp and J. D.Vance
have a lecture also. Learned plenty.
Great machine. I own many, many
detectors and my Deus 1 has netted me many good finds. I'm sure the Deus 2 has the EDGE but never felt the need to purchase the
Deus 2. The Deus 1 works for me just fine. JMHO. Hope this helps...
