First off happy resurrection Day!
I hunted four different spots this weekend one park one school anda field that bordered a Town hall and a private home.
I started Thursday night right after work about 230 at the park near my house the first good coin I got what is a Barber Quarter 1897 it was very badly masked with iron nails.
Then I found the old back to the pocket watch I switched to the Other side of the road a small grassy area at the entrance of the park. I had a solid 12 signal which I thought was going to be a nickel turned out to be the gold chain lying lengthwise. I had to test it to find out that it was 14 karat. Then I was working a long the edge of the yard near some hedges and I found a mercury and a Roosevelt in a spill together!
On my way back to my car working the edge of the driveway I had another Mercury dime.
I was off to a good start for the weekend with four Silver‘s in about 2 1/2 hours Friday we went to a school and a permission at the school I detected with Dave Evers JR and he killed it with 5 silver coins one quarter and 4 dimes I found a silver quarter and a silver ring we also found a lot of clad!
On the way home we stopped at his friends yard I ended up with a buffalo and a Roosevelt in a spill another buffalo some old buttons in another Silver Rosie Dave also got a silver Rosie.
Yesterday My dad and I found a Townhall with a large field that bordered it we decided to stop and hunt it.
I hunted a low area that looked like it was original soil where I found three silver Washingtons they were very deep and not very good signals on my equinox but I knew to dig him.
Today after Easter service I stopped at a very old school that had been closed down and I was working the edge of the driveway where I found the 1944 Mercury dime in the small silver ring and the 100th anniversary Statue of Liberty token I only hunted for about 45 minutes because I had to go to Easter dinner at my mother-in-law‘s house just a great weekend Also I met Jim From the forums Friday and bought his XP Deus thanks Jim!
I hope everyone had a happy Easter and got to spend some time with their families...
