Chris, hows it going...My jeep is not running so I am not getting much hunting in..perhaps in the fall we can get together...well at least after July as I am moving then and everything is going crazy here..we have the annual Camp X event in Whitby June 9 and 10th..so at the display I will have several cases of dug Military buttons and badges....
Can you post a photo of the back of that button?

Oh forgot to mention..a couple of months ago I and a couple of friends hit an Island well east of me..almost a mile of 1760 British fortifactaions still there..found a couple of buttons and lots of Entrenching tools in great shape and other 1760 items...going to hit it again next spring.

Hope you're moving a little closer I don't think its a button unless it's part of a strange two piece. No sign of an attachment. You going to give me an invite to that island?
